Every business needs to have a talent management philosophy to guide talent management in its workplace. Talent philosophy in fact is about certain things the senior management of the company has agreed upon. It could be anything such as how long they are going to tolerate an average employee who only gives his 50%. For some companies, this might be enough but for others, it is totally unacceptable. Similarly, talent philosophy also includes things like how accountable managers are for developing employees or how transparent they should be with their direct reports. It is incredibly important for organizations to answer these fundamental questions.
