Business leaders need to create a distinct edge or competitive advantage to survive in the business world which is moving too fast. In order to create that edge, leaders have to develop constantly because if they don’t, they will lag behind the others who spend a lot of time on their personal wellbeing and professional development. If leaders don’t develop themselves, they will never be able to help their subordinates develop and will ultimately fail to create an edge. Similarly, for achieving competitive advantage, leaders have to keep their teams on toe, challenge them to reach for more and work beyond their comfort zone.
