The National Chimney Sweep Training School is a one-of-a-kind, six-day hands-on course held four times a year at the Chimney Safety Institute in Plainfield, Indiana. John Burke, of Chicagoland Fireplace and Chimney Restoration Co. in Berkeley, Illinois, was one of two dozen students to take the course. He passed on April 19, 2014. He talks about why the course was so valuable to him.
