Drawing on strategic planning initiatives in the UK, NZ, Canada, Australia, and the United States, Dr. Buss offers managers insights into what worked well, what failed and what remains to be done. This video webinar looks closely at strategic planning in the context of strategic leadership development, change management, performance management, Good Governance and civil service reform. A central focus of the seminar will be on e-government. Managers will learn what mistakes to avoid and how to develop state-of-the-art planning for the future.
About The Speaker:
Dr. Buss has held senior management positions in the US at the National Academy of Public Administration, National Governors Association, Congressional Research Service, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and World Bank. In addition he has served as Dean or director of colleges, research centres and departments of public policy and management in six universities. He has held an unprecedented two Fulbright Scholarships in Hungary. He has written 12 books and 350 articles on public policy. He has worked in 30 countries offering technical assistance and training to senior public officials.
