More than 70 students from Mangalam School of Architecture visited Uravu for a workshop on bamboo construction
On 15 and 16 February 2016, Uravu Eco Links welcomed 72 students from Mangalam School of Architecture & Planning, Kottayam. The students and their professors participated in a workshop consisting of four parts. First, they were exposed to a presentation on Uravu / Uravu Eco Links and construction with bamboo. Then, the students got a practical training on construction methods with bamboo at the Uravu workshop by its bamboo construction specialists. After that, the students were involved in designing new buildings, which could be built in the Uravu Bamboo Grove Resort. The last phase was the presentation of their works and drawings to experts of Uravu Eco Links. These two enriching and intense days were a success for both, the students and Uravu Eco Links.
