Mark Maynard, The Chimney Guy LCC of Menahsa, Wisconsin, said in 2011 that 65 percent of his business was service wood-fueled fireplaces ... but by 2014, 80 percent of his clients were using gas. Already CSIA and NFI certified, Mark made sure his son Luke Maynard is also getting NFI certified - a reason why both are in Plainfield, Indiana at this week's Installing and Troubleshooting Gas Hearth Appliances.
