In order to be effective, all allergy relief bedding must fully encase your bedding to trap any existing dust mites and allergens, while protecting it from any additional intruders. We offer two types of allergy relief covers: membrane and non-membrane.
Membrane encasements have a synthetic layer, which provides waterproof protection while also blocking out any allergens. We offer one kind of membrane encasement, which is made out of vinyl. This is our most economical option to protect against dust mites and allergens, bedbugs, and moisture, which can cause mold and mildew. We also offer our line of premium covers, which also protect against allergens, moisture, and bedbugs. The difference is that these covers are breathable, making for a more comfortable night’s sleep.
Finally, we offer non-membrane, or tightly woven fabric encasements. These mattress covers look and feel like fine cotton sheets, but they are woven so tightly to prevent dust mites or allergens from getting through. Non-membrane covers, however, don’t provide moisture or bedbug protection because they don’t have a synthetic barrier. No matter which cover you choose, you can rest assured that you are protected from dust mites and allergens.
