‘We Live Here Together’ is a short film featuring the joint vision of leading mayors from 6 global cities – Bogotá, Cape Town, New York City, Paris, Portland, and Seoul – who are pursuing inclusive climate action through a range of groundbreaking initiatives that protect vulnerable communities.
The film makes a powerful argument that efforts to tackle climate change must also address the issues of poverty and social inclusion. It sets a moral imperative to communicate and act upon the inter-connectedness of environmental, social and economic development.
Mayors around the world are proving that many climate actions can produce multiple benefits, including improved health, more accessible healthcare, better air quality, greater job opportunities, liveability, and economic competitiveness.
