Biomatrix Water Solutions, was set up with the mission to restore degraded waterways through increased availability and application of ecological water management solutions and to increase sustainability of water use by providing ecological water treatment and water reclamation solutions for the mutual benefit of people, wildlife and business growth. As an Eco-Tech restoration focused company restoring the environment means building our business as quickly and efficiently as we can, and we aim to create five times the restoration habitat green space as we have in 2015 by 2020, with less material usage per unit.
With the Floating Modular Ecosystem concept we focused on designing and manufacturing faster, easier to implement water management solutions. We aimed to build a new range of products, based on Biomimicry which could provide multiple benefits in an easily transportable click together product, which would allow us to scale faster and solve more water problems on a wider international scale. It’s development brought us almost to an IKEA style assembly and installation instruction, allowing the Modular Floating Ecosystems to be installed with no previous experience and minimal tools.
